Training Omaha's Immediate Responder's!
We successfully established a safety team at our church and offer our experience as a resource if you are considering similar initiatives. Our Emergency Medical Technician training coupled with our emergency management, risk management and safety background can help. While we initially had an outside contractor, we found that transitioning to an in-house ministry was significantly more effective. We can share insights on the processes we developed, including:
Developing a written safety program
Conducting vulnerability assessments
Implementing both armed and unarmed security teams
Applying for grants, such as the Nonprofit Security Grant Program.
